Billy's Chili Original
2 lbs. 80/20 ground beef
3 TBS Billy's Chili Mix
2 cups water
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 red bell pepper chopped fine (or yellow/green)
1 yellow onion chopped fine
Brown 2 lbs. ground beef with one cup of water over medium high heat. (approximately 20 minutes)
When hamburger is about half-way done (10 minutes) add the red bell pepper and onion.
Stir in 3 Tablespoons (use 4 tbs for more flavor!) of Billy’s Chili Mix (mix well), add a 15 oz of can of tomato sauce and two cups of water.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer (low-medium) for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
Options: In step 3, add 15oz of Pinto Beans (Drained). Serve hot. Top with a dollop of Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese.
